We are
the Penn-Mar Vintage Race Car Club. Founded in 1984 and
originally called Vintage Stock Car Club. In 2000, the
name changed to Penn-Mar Vintage Race Car Club, Inc.
Currently, we have members from Delaware, Maryland, New
York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. However, we are
based out of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
The Club has two classes -- a Sportsman class and a
Modified class At racing events there is no qualifying.
Each class runs a heat and feature. The Club has a point
system. At each race, unless otherwise noted on the
schedule, a participant receives show points, points for
starting the heats and features, as well as points for
where you finished in both events. At the end of each
season, we have an awards banquet where we recognize
every participant and the Champions from each class
receive trophies.
We travel to several different tracks including:
Hesston, Hill Valley, Susquehanna, Trail-Ways and
Williams Grove.
